Hi, I’m Kayla Bishop! I’m a Strategic Communication major with a minor in Journalism at Miami University, and I’m passionate about the way creativity can bring stories, people, and culture together.

My interests live at the intersection of storytelling, fashion, entertainment, photography, and visual media. Whether I’m behind the camera, exploring a story through journalism, connecting with my campus community, or drawing inspiration from fashion and entertainment, I’m most interested in the ideas and experiences that make people stop, feel something, and connect.

My long-term goal is to build a career where I can combine communication and creativity—whether that leads me into creative direction, entertainment journalism, public relations, or brand storytelling. I’m especially excited about opportunities that allow me to learn how ideas move from concept to execution and how creative teams build experiences that connect with an audience.

As I continue growing professionally, I’m looking for an internship where I can learn from others, contribute my own creative perspective, and gain hands-on experience. I don’t expect to know everything walking in. I want to be in environments that challenge me to ask questions, try new things, collaborate with different people, and become a stronger storyteller and creative.

For me, this is just the beginning—and I’m excited to see where creativity, curiosity, and community take me.
